Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Dassima (kelp) — Make sure to soak the dried dassima in cold water to soften it before stir-frying. This will ensure a pleasant chewy texture in the final dish.

Tips & Tricks

  • If you prefer a milder version, reduce the amount of gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) in the sauce.
  • Customize the level of spiciness by adding more or less red chili pepper according to your taste.
  • For added depth of flavor, you can incorporate other vegetables such as bell peppers or mushrooms into the stir-fry.
  • Serve this dish with a side of steamed rice to balance the spiciness.
