Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the chilled butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3.Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the crumb mixture for the topping. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

4.In a separate bowl, whisk together the dairy-free milk and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the crust in the baking dish.

5.In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips over low heat. Stir in the coconut cream, brown sugar, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

6.Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust in the baking dish. Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture evenly over the top.

7.Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
