Preparation

1.Drain and rinse the soaked white beans.

2.In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.

3.Add the smoked sausage, bacon, and pork shoulder to the pot. Cook until browned.

4.Stir in the white beans, bay leaves, thyme, and paprika. Mix well.

5.Pour in the chicken broth and white wine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6.Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the beans are tender and the flavors have melded together.
