Ingredients
In this adaptation of the original Croatian dish, Juha sa štruklima, we have transformed it into a Syrian Jewish style vegetable soup with dumplings. While the original dish features meat-filled dumplings, we have replaced them with vegetarian dumplings made from matzo meal, eggs, and parsley. Additionally, we have incorporated Syrian Jewish flavors by infusing the soup with spices like cumin, turmeric, and paprika, which are commonly used in Syrian Jewish cuisine. We alse have the original recipe for Juha sa štruklima, so you can check it out.
