1.In a small saucepan, heat the milk over low heat until warm. Do not boil.

2.In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and matcha powder until well combined.

3.Add the warm milk to the matcha mixture and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

4.Sift the cake flour and baking powder into the matcha mixture. Whisk until smooth and no lumps remain.

5.Stir in the vegetable oil and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

6.Lightly grease the molds of a Mushi Pan steamer with cooking spray.

7.Pour the batter into the molds, filling each one about 2/3 full.
