In this Oceanic adaptation of the Mexican dish Pan será, we have replaced the traditional Mexican spices and ingredients with those commonly found in Oceanic cuisine. The original dish typically includes ingredients like chili peppers, cumin, and tomatoes, which have been substituted with tropical fruits, coconut milk, and lime to give it a distinct Oceanic flavor profile. Preparation

1.In a large bowl, combine the coconut milk, lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well and set aside.

2.Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until fragrant and translucent.

3.Add the red bell pepper to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes.

4.Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and cook until they are almost done, about 3-4 minutes.

5.Pour the coconut milk mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the seafood is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.

6.Stir in the pineapple and mango chunks and cook for another minute to heat through.

7.Season with salt and pepper to taste.

8.Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
