Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Almonds — To enhance the flavor, you can lightly roast the almonds before chopping them.
  • Jaggery — If jaggery is not available, you can substitute it with an equal amount of brown sugar.

Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure to continuously stir the wheat flour while roasting to prevent it from burning.
  • Adjust the sweetness according to your preference by adding more or less jaggery (or brown sugar).
  • For a more aromatic flavor, you can lightly toast the cardamom and nutmeg before grinding them into powder.
