Treat your ingredients with care...
- Phyllo pastry — Handle the phyllo pastry gently to prevent it from tearing. Keep it covered with a damp cloth while working to prevent it from drying out.
- Feta cheese — Use high-quality feta cheese for the best flavor. If you prefer a milder taste, you can soak the feta cheese in water for 30 minutes before using it in the recipe.
Tips & Tricks
- To achieve a crispy texture, make sure to brush each layer of phyllo pastry with melted butter.
- If you want to add a touch of sweetness, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the filling before folding the phyllo triangles.
- Serve the phyllo triangles warm for the best taste and texture.
- These triangles can be prepared in advance and frozen. Simply bake them from frozen for a few extra minutes.
