Ingredients
In this Ukrainian adaptation of the Brazilian Pudim de laranja, we incorporate traditional Ukrainian ingredients and flavors to create a unique twist. The original recipe is modified by infusing the custard base with Ukrainian citrus fruits, such as mandarins or lemons, to add a local touch. Additionally, we use ingredients commonly found in Ukrainian cuisine, such as sour cream or cottage cheese, to enhance the creaminess and richness of the pudding. Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a round baking dish.

2.In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.

3.Add the orange juice, orange zest, milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, flour, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.

4.Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and place it in a larger baking pan filled with hot water.

5.Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the pudding is set and lightly golden on top.

6.Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
