1.Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

3.Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

4.Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

5.Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.

6.Fluff the rice with a fork and gently fold in the mashed durian flesh.
