Ingredients
Our Hungarian Ramen differs from the traditional Japanese version in several ways. Instead of using soy sauce and miso paste, we use paprika and caraway seeds to give the soup a distinct Hungarian flavor. We also use beef instead of pork for the broth and add in vegetables like potatoes and carrots for a heartier soup. We alse have the original recipe for Ramen, so you can check it out.

Preparation

1.Preheat oven to 200C (400F).

2.Place beef bones on a baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes.

3.In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.

4.Add paprika and caraway seeds and cook for 1 minute.

5.Add roasted beef bones, potato, carrot, bell peppers, tomato paste, and water to the pot.

6.Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 hours.

7.Strain the broth and discard the solids.

8.Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.

9.Divide noodles into bowls and pour the hot broth over them.

10.Season with salt and pepper to taste.

- Beef bones — Roasting the bones before simmering them will give the broth a richer flavor.
- Paprika — Use high-quality Hungarian paprika for the best flavor.
- Caraway seeds — Toasting the caraway seeds before adding them to the soup will enhance their flavor.

- If you can't find ramen noodles, you can use any other type of noodle.
- You can add other vegetables like mushrooms or cabbage to the soup for extra flavor and nutrition.
