Ingredients

Preparation

1.Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the sausages from the pan and set aside.

2.In the same pan, add the chopped onions and cook until golden brown.

3.Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.

4.Add the tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes until the oil separates.

5.Stir in the cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and red chili powder. Cook for another minute.

6.Add water and bring the curry to a simmer. Place the sausages back into the pan and cover. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the sausages are cooked through.

7.Stir in the heavy cream or yogurt and season with salt to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

8.Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
