Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Bavarian sausages — Use traditional Bavarian sausages such as Weisswurst or Bratwurst for an authentic flavor.
  • Sauerkraut — Make sure to drain the sauerkraut well to avoid excess moisture in the filling.
  • Bavarian mustard — Look for a good quality Bavarian mustard with a strong flavor to enhance the taste of the spring rolls.
  • Emmental cheese — You can substitute Emmental cheese with any other mild melting cheese like Gouda or Swiss.

Tips & Tricks

  • To make the spring rolls extra crispy, you can double fry them. After the initial frying, let them cool for a few minutes, then fry them again until golden brown.
