Preparation

1.In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, and sauté until fragrant.

2.Add Brazilian sausage, hearts of palm, shredded cabbage, carrot, and red bell pepper to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3.In a bowl, combine mashed cassava, soy sauce, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

4.Add the cassava mixture to the pan and stir until all the ingredients are well combined. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let the filling cool.

5.Take one spring roll wrapper and place it on a clean surface. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the wrapper, spreading it in a horizontal line across the center.

6.Fold the bottom edge of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll the wrapper tightly, sealing the edges with a bit of water.
