Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Salmon — Ensure the salmon is fresh and of high quality. Remove any bones before slicing.
  • Rye bread — Use a dense and hearty rye bread for a traditional Nordic flavor.
  • Cloudberries — Gently rinse the cloudberries to remove any debris before using.
  • Sea buckthorn berries — Handle the berries with care as they can be quite tart.
  • Ramson leaves — If wild garlic is not available, substitute with chives or green onions.
