Ingredients
In this adaptation, the traditional Spanish dish of Angulas is transformed into a Maritime-style Seafood Pasta. The original dish, which features baby eels, is replaced with a variety of fresh seafood commonly found in the Maritimes, such as lobster, scallops, and shrimp. The flavors are also adjusted to suit the Maritimes cuisine, incorporating local herbs and a touch of citrus to enhance the seafood's natural taste. The dish is served over pasta, providing a heartier and more substantial meal. We alse have the original recipe for Angulas, so you can check it out.

Treat your ingredients with care...
- Lobster tail — Ensure the lobster tail is fully cooked but still tender. Overcooking can result in a tough texture.
- Scallops — Pat the scallops dry before cooking to ensure a nice sear. Cook them just until they are opaque in the center to maintain their tenderness.
- Shrimp — Remove the shells and devein the shrimp before cooking. Be careful not to overcook them, as they can become rubbery.
Tips & Tricks
- For a burst of freshness, squeeze some lemon juice over the dish just before serving.
- Experiment with different types of seafood based on availability and personal preference.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a subtle kick of heat.
- To make the dish more indulgent, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
- Serve the Maritime-style Seafood Pasta with warm crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
