Ingredients
In this Bhojpuri adaptation, we incorporate Bhojpuri spices such as cumin, coriander, and turmeric to infuse the fritters with a distinct flavor profile. 1.In a large bowl, combine the grated plantains, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chilies, ginger, cilantro, mint, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium heat.

3.Take a small portion of the plantain mixture and shape it into a small patty or fritter.

4.Carefully place the fritter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.

5.Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
