1.In a bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, saffron (including the soaking water), turmeric, cumin, and cinnamon. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 1 hour.

2.Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion turns golden brown.
