1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, all-purpose flour, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Shape the rice mixture into small patties or balls, about 2 inches in diameter.

3.Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the rice cakes in batches until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
