The original Finnish recipe is enhanced with aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, and paprika, along with fragrant herbs such as mint and parsley. 1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, cumin, coriander, paprika, mint, and parsley.

2.Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.

3.Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4.Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

5.Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

6.Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a round loaf or a casserole shape.
