Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Apples — Choose firm and slightly tart apples, such as Granny Smith or Braeburn, for a balanced flavor and texture.
  • Berries — Use fresh berries when they are in season for the best taste and texture. If fresh berries are not available, you can use frozen berries, but thaw them before adding to the soup.
  • Mint leaves — Gently bruise the mint leaves before garnishing to release their aroma and enhance the visual appeal of the dish.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a more intense flavor, let the soup sit in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar, depending on your preference.
  • Serve the Swedish Fruit Soup with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a touch of indulgence.
  • Experiment with different combinations of fruits to create your own unique variation of the soup.
  • Leftover fruit soup can be used as a topping for pancakes or waffles.
