1.In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cornmeal, onion, garlic, red chilies, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of golf balls.

3.Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the garullas and cook until browned on all sides.

4.Remove the garullas from the pan and set aside.

5.In the same pan, add the lemongrass and sauté for a minute to release its aroma.

6.Add the coconut milk and beef broth to the pan. Stir well to combine.

7.Return the garullas to the pan and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the garullas are cooked through and the flavors have melded together.
