Ingredients
While the Gatsby is known for its hearty fillings and unique combination of flavors, the Gourmet Seoul Sandwich takes inspiration from South Korean cuisine to create a fusion dish. The original Gatsby typically includes ingredients like french fries and peri-peri sauce, which are replaced in this adaptation with traditional Korean elements such as bulgogi beef, kimchi, and gochujang mayo. These changes infuse the sandwich with the distinct flavors of South Korea, giving it a new and exciting twist. We alse have the original recipe for Gatsby, so you can check it out.

Treat your ingredients with care...
- Beef — For best results, choose thinly sliced beef sirloin. If you can't find pre-sliced beef, freeze the beef for 30 minutes to make it easier to slice thinly.
- Kimchi — Make sure to drain the kimchi well before chopping to remove excess liquid.
- Gochujang — Adjust the amount of gochujang according to your spice preference. Add more for extra heat or reduce for a milder flavor.
Tips & Tricks
- For added crunch, you can lightly toast the baguettes before assembling the sandwich.
- If you prefer a spicier sandwich, add a few slices of fresh jalapeno or sprinkle some Korean chili flakes (gochugaru) on top of the filling.
- Experiment with different types of pickled vegetables, such as pickled cucumber or carrot, to add more variety to the sandwich.
- If you're short on time, you can use pre-marinated bulgogi beef from a Korean grocery store.
- Serve the sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries for a complete meal.
