Ingredients
In this Brazilian adaptation of Gence Ruan, we infuse the dish with Brazilian spices and flavors, replacing some of the traditional Chinese ingredients. The original Chinese version typically uses soy sauce, ginger, and garlic as the primary flavor components, while the Brazilian-style Gence Ruan incorporates ingredients like cumin, paprika, and fresh lime juice to give it a distinct Brazilian twist. Additionally, we use bell peppers and onions to add a burst of color and texture, which is not commonly found in the original Chinese dish. We alse have the original recipe for Gence ruan, so you can check it out.
