In this Chifa-inspired adaptation of gözleme, we incorporate Chifa cuisine's unique flavors and ingredients. Instead of the traditional Turkish fillings, we use marinated meat, vegetables, and aromatic spices commonly found in Chifa cuisine. The cooking technique remains the same, with the pancakes being cooked on a griddle until golden and crispy. 1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

2.In a separate bowl, combine the marinated meat, mixed vegetables, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, Chinese five-spice powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the meat and vegetables are evenly coated with the marinade.

3.Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle on a lightly floured surface.

4.Place a portion of the marinated meat and vegetable mixture onto one half of the rolled-out dough circle. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling, pressing the edges to seal.

5.Heat a griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with vegetable oil. Cook the stuffed pancakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy.
