Ingredients
In this Pakistani adaptation of Maíz con Hielo, we infuse the dish with the rich flavors of Pakistani cuisine. Instead of using coconut milk, we create a spiced syrup using traditional Pakistani spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. The dish is garnished with pistachios and a drizzle of rose syrup, which are commonly used in Pakistani desserts. These changes give the dish a distinct Pakistani flavor profile while still maintaining the refreshing and comforting qualities of the original Filipino dish. We alse have the original recipe for Maíz con hielo, so you can check it out.
