Preparation

    Soak the Bobići beans in water overnight. Drain and rinse before using.

    Heat mustard oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let them splutter.

    Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

    Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.

    Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

    Add the soaked Bobići beans and mix until they are coated with the spice mixture.

    Pour enough water to cover the beans and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the beans are tender (approximately 30-40 minutes).
