1.In a bowl, combine the beef, garlic, onion, ginger, lemongrass, turmeric powder, galangal powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2.Heat the coconut oil and palm oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned on all sides.

3.Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it cook for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.

4.Remove the lid and continue cooking for another 15 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
