Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Tomato salsa — Use a chunky salsa for added texture and flavor.
  • Mexican cheese blend — If you can't find a pre-shredded blend, you can mix equal parts of cheddar, Monterey Jack, and crumbled queso fresco.
  • Pickled jalapenos — Adjust the amount according to your spice preference. You can also use fresh jalapenos if desired.
  • Fresh cilantro — Rinse the cilantro leaves well and pat them dry before using to remove any dirt or moisture.
  • Pizza dough — If using store-bought dough, follow the package instructions for rolling and baking.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a spicier kick, add a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes before baking.
  • Experiment with different toppings such as sliced bell peppers, onions, or grilled corn for added Mexican flair.
  • If you prefer a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for a few minutes before adding the toppings.
  • Serve with a side of guacamole or sour cream for dipping.
  • Leftover pizza can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
