Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Arctic char — Make sure to remove any bones from the Arctic char before chopping it.
  • Inuit spice blend — If you don't have access to a pre-made Inuit spice blend, you can create your own by combining dried berries (such as cloudberries or cranberries), herbs (such as thyme or rosemary), and spices (such as black pepper or juniper berries).

Tips & Tricks

  • If you can't find Arctic char, you can substitute it with another fatty fish like salmon.
  • Experiment with different pickled Arctic vegetables to add variety to the burger.
  • For an extra kick of flavor, add a few drops of hot sauce to the sea buckthorn aioli.
  • If you prefer a spicier burger, add some chopped chili peppers to the burger patty mixture.
  • Serve the burger with a side of traditional Inuit akutaq (Eskimo ice cream) for a complete Arctic culinary experience.
