Ingredients
In this Cajun adaptation of sirovi štruklji, we replace the traditional Slovenian ingredients with Cajun-inspired flavors. Instead of using the original herbs and spices, we incorporate Cajun seasonings like paprika, cayenne pepper, and thyme. Additionally, we substitute the traditional cheese with sharp cheddar to add a tangy kick. Lastly, we introduce smoky andouille sausage to enhance the overall flavor profile and give it a Cajun twist. We alse have the original recipe for Sirovi štruklji, so you can check it out.

Tips & Tricks
- Make sure to seal the edges of the puff pastry tightly to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.
- Serve the Cajun-style Cheese Strudel with a side of spicy remoulade sauce for an extra kick of flavor.
- If you prefer a milder version, reduce the amount of cayenne pepper in the filling.
- Feel free to add diced bell peppers or onions to the filling for added texture and flavor.
