Ingredients
While the original Swedish Smulpaj is a crumbly oat-based dessert, the Andalusian Almond Tart takes inspiration from the flavors and ingredients of Andalusian cuisine. The tart features a rich almond filling flavored with orange blossom water and lemon zest, which gives it a distinct Andalusian twist. Additionally, the crust is made with ground almonds instead of oats, adding a nutty flavor to the tart. We alse have the original recipe for Smulpaj, so you can check it out.
