Ingredients
In this Latin American adaptation of Spetsofai, we replace the traditional Greek sausages with Latin American sausages like chorizo or longaniza. The original dish typically uses Mediterranean spices like oregano and cinnamon, but we incorporate Latin American spices such as cumin, paprika, and chili powder to infuse the stew with a smoky and spicy flavor profile. Additionally, we serve the stew with warm tortillas or rice instead of the traditional Greek bread. We alse have the original recipe for Spetsofai, so you can check it out.
