Ingredients
In the original French recipe, the tart is typically made with a classic pâte sucrée crust and filled with mirabelles, sugar, and sometimes almond cream. However, in this Acehnese adaptation, we incorporate local Acehnese spices and flavors into the filling, giving it a unique twist. Additionally, we use Acehnese mirabelles, which have a slightly different flavor profile compared to their French counterparts. We alse have the original recipe for Tarte aux mirabelles, so you can check it out.
