Ingredients
In this adaptation, we have replaced some of the traditional Vietnamese ingredients with Kentucky-inspired flavors. Instead of using traditional Vietnamese spices, we have incorporated paprika, cayenne pepper, and thyme to infuse the dish with a Southern twist. 1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the duck blood, ground pork, cornmeal, paprika, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

3.Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a patty. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

4.Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
