Ingredients

While the original Thai Tom Chuet is a clear soup with a delicate balance of flavors, this Maharashtrian adaptation adds a spicy twist to the dish. The use of traditional Maharashtrian spices like mustard seeds, cumin, and turmeric gives the soup a distinct flavor profile. Additionally, the soup is thicker in consistency compared to the original, making it heartier and more suitable as a standalone dish. We alse have the original recipe for Tom chuet, so you can check it out.
