Ingredients

In this Crimean Tatar adaptation, we incorporate the unique flavors and ingredients of Crimean Tatar cuisine. The original Spanish Torta de Pastores typically uses ingredients like chorizo, tomatoes, and Spanish spices. In our Crimean Tatar version, we replace chorizo with lamb or beef, and infuse the dish with aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, and paprika. Additionally, we incorporate Crimean Tatar vegetables such as onions, carrots, and bell peppers to add a distinct flavor profile. We alse have the original recipe for Torta de pastores, so you can check it out.
