Preparation

1.In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.

3.Pour in the Tucupi sauce and vegetable broth. Add the bay leaf and season with salt and pepper.

4.Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

5.Remove the bay leaf from the soup. Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, puree the soup until smooth.
