Ingredients

In this Malawian adaptation of the Yorkshire Curd Tart, we incorporate the use of curd cheese, a popular ingredient in Malawian cuisine. Additionally, we infuse the tart with aromatic spices commonly found in Malawian dishes, such as cinnamon and nutmeg, to add a unique flavor profile. The crust remains similar to the original recipe, providing a buttery and flaky base for the creamy filling. We alse have the original recipe for Yorkshire Curd Tart, so you can check it out.
