In this Namibian adaptation of the Z-Man burger, we incorporate Namibian spices and flavors to create a unique twist. The addition of a spicy tomato chutney, made with Namibian spices, adds a tangy and slightly sweet element to the burger. Preparation

1.In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, smoked brisket, paprika, ground coriander, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

3.Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

4.Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

5.While the patties are cooking, prepare the spicy tomato chutney. In a saucepan, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground ginger, ground chili powder, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, vinegar, and salt. Cook over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chutney thickens.

6.Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

7.Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt slightly.

8.Assemble the burgers by placing a patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with 2 slices of crispy bacon and a generous spoonful of spicy tomato chutney. Cover with the top half of the bun.
