Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Barley flour — Barley flour adds a unique nutty flavor to the Bakarkhani. If you can't find barley flour, you can substitute it with whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour.
  • Carmarthenshire butter — The use of Carmarthenshire butter enhances the richness of the bread. If Carmarthenshire butter is not available, you can use any high-quality unsalted butter as a substitute.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a crispier texture, roll the dough circles as thin as possible.
  • Experiment with different toppings such as poppy seeds or nigella seeds for added flavor.
  • Serve the Bakarkhani warm with a dollop of Carmarthenshire butter for an extra indulgent treat.
