Ingredients
While the original Korean Bulgogi is traditionally marinated in a soy-based sauce, our Arab-Style Bulgogi incorporates the bold flavors of the Middle East. We replace the soy sauce with a spicy harissa marinade, adding a fiery kick to the dish. Additionally, we incorporate Middle Eastern spices and herbs to enhance the flavor profile and adapt it to the Arab cuisine. We alse have the original recipe for Bulgogi, so you can check it out.

Treat your ingredients with care...
- Harissa paste — Adjust the amount of harissa paste according to your spice preference. Increase or decrease the quantity to make the marinade milder or spicier.
- Beef sirloin — For the best results, choose thinly sliced beef sirloin. If you can't find pre-sliced beef, you can partially freeze a whole sirloin steak for easier slicing.
Tips & Tricks
- For a smokier flavor, you can grill the Arab-Style Bulgogi over charcoal instead of using a skillet.
- Serve the Bulgogi with warm Arabic bread or pita for a delicious wrap.
- If you prefer a milder spice level, reduce the amount of harissa paste in the marinade.
- Marinating the beef overnight will result in a more flavorful and tender dish.
- Don't overcook the beef to ensure it remains juicy and tender.
