1.Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.

2.Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pot and cook for another minute.

3.Stir in the turmeric, ground coriander, ground cumin, and paprika. Cook for a few minutes until fragrant.

4.Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.

5.Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer. Cover the pot and let it cook for 20 minutes.

6.Add the cubed sweet potatoes and halved okra to the pot. Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
