Treat your ingredients with care...
- Beef — For the best results, choose a tender cut of beef such as sirloin or flank steak. Make sure to slice it thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.
- Greek yogurt — Opt for full-fat Greek yogurt for a creamy and rich flavor. If you prefer a lighter option, you can use low-fat Greek yogurt instead.
- Fresh herbs — Use fresh herbs for the yogurt sauce and garnish to add a burst of flavor. If you don't have fresh herbs, you can substitute with dried herbs, but reduce the quantity by half.
Tips & Tricks
- For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the assembled tacos before serving.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce to the yogurt sauce.
- To make the tacos more filling, you can add a handful of mixed greens or arugula to each taco.
- If you don't have a grill or grill pan, you can also cook the beef on a stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
- Leftover grilled beef can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and used in salads or sandwiches.
