Ingredients
While the original Bosnian Ćevapi are traditionally made with a mixture of ground beef, lamb, and spices, our Argentinian adaptation focuses solely on beef. We infuse the skewers with Argentinian flavors by using a combination of herbs and spices commonly found in Argentinian cuisine. Additionally, we grill the skewers to achieve that signature smoky flavor. We alse have the original recipe for Ćevapi, so you can check it out.

Treat your ingredients with care...
- Ground beef — Use lean ground beef for a healthier option. If you prefer a juicier texture, opt for ground beef with a slightly higher fat content.
- Fresh herbs — For the best flavor, use fresh parsley and oregano. If fresh herbs are not available, you can substitute with dried herbs, but reduce the quantity by half.
Tips & Tricks
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent them from burning on the grill.
- Serve the Ćevapi with chimichurri sauce, a classic Argentinian condiment, for an authentic flavor experience.
- If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the skewers on a stovetop grill pan or in the oven under the broiler.
