Ingredients

Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a round baking pan.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.

3.Add the cold butter cubes to the bowl and use your fingertips to rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4.Transfer half of the crumbly mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly to form the crust.

5.In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped almonds, sesame seeds, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.

6.Spread the almond mixture evenly over the crust in the baking pan.
