Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a round baking pan.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.

    Add the cold butter cubes to the bowl and use your fingertips to rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
