Ingredients
The original Maakouda is a traditional Moroccan dish made with mashed potatoes, spices, and herbs, which is then shaped into patties and deep-fried. In this adapted recipe, we have transformed the Maakouda into a burger by shaping the potato mixture into patties and pan-frying them for a healthier twist. Additionally, we have incorporated traditional American burger toppings and a tangy mayo-based sauce to enhance the flavors and create a fusion of Moroccan and American cuisines. We alse have the original recipe for Maakouda, so you can check it out.
