Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Onion — Make sure to finely chop the onion to ensure it cooks evenly and blends smoothly into the sauce.
  • Garlic — Mince the garlic cloves finely to release their flavor and aroma.
  • Chili sauce — Adjust the amount of chili sauce according to your desired level of spiciness. Add more for extra heat or reduce for a milder sauce.
  • Brown sugar — Use brown sugar to add a subtle sweetness to balance the tangy and spicy flavors of the sauce.
  • Salt and pepper — Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, but be cautious as Worcestershire sauce already contains salt.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a smoky flavor, add a dash of liquid smoke to the sauce.
  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less chili sauce or even incorporating fresh chili peppers.
  • Store the sauce in a sterilized jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • Use Welsh Dragon Sauce as a marinade for grilled meats or as a dipping sauce for fries and vegetables.
  • Experiment with different types of mustard to add unique flavors to the sauce.
