Ingredients
In this Libyan-inspired adaptation of Okinawa soba, we incorporate traditional Libyan spices and ingredients to infuse the dish with the flavors of the Mediterranean. The original Japanese version typically uses pork as the main protein, but we substitute it with lamb or beef to align with Libyan cuisine. Additionally, we enhance the broth with a blend of cumin, coriander, and paprika, giving it a distinct North African twist. We alse have the original recipe for Okinawa soba, so you can check it out.
