Ingredients
In this Bihari-style adaptation, we incorporate the distinct flavors of Bihari cuisine into the traditional Norwegian pizza. The original Pizza Grandiosa is known for its simplicity and mild flavors, while our Bihari-style Spicy Chicken Pizza embraces the bold and spicy elements of Bihari cuisine. We use Bihari spices such as cumin, coriander, and red chili powder to infuse the tomato sauce with a fiery kick. Additionally, we marinate the chicken in a blend of Bihari spices to enhance its flavor and tenderness. The addition of green chilies adds an extra level of heat and authenticity to the dish. We alse have the original recipe for Pizza Grandiosa, so you can check it out.

Treat your ingredients with care...
- Chicken — Ensure the chicken breast is thinly sliced for quick and even cooking.
- Bihari spice mix — You can make your own Bihari spice mix by combining equal parts of ground cumin, coriander, and red chili powder.
- Green chilies — Adjust the amount of green chilies according to your spice preference. Remove the seeds for a milder heat.
Tips & Tricks
- For a spicier kick, add a sprinkle of red chili flakes on top of the pizza before baking.
- Experiment with different toppings such as sliced onions, bell peppers, or paneer (Indian cottage cheese) for added flavor and texture.
- If you prefer a thinner crust, roll out the dough even thinner or use a rolling pin to stretch it further.
- To save time, you can use store-bought pizza dough instead of making it from scratch.
- Serve the pizza with a side of cooling raita (yogurt sauce) to balance the spiciness.
